Questions, corrections, or a city you would like us to cover? We read every message. Here is how to reach the SnowDayCA team and what to expect back.

What to get in touch about

  • Suggest a city or region — tell us where you want a dedicated snow day page next.
  • Report a forecast that looked off — this helps us tune the model for your area.
  • Ask a general question — about how the tool works or how to read your score.
  • Share feedback or an idea — features or guides you would find useful.
  • Media or partnership — for press, data, or collaboration requests.

Before you ask about a specific closure

SnowDayCA is an independent planning tool, not a school board. We cannot confirm whether your school is open or closed on a given day. For official snow day and bus cancellation notices, always check your local school board or division directly. You can read how the forecast is built and our disclaimer for the full picture.

Response time

We are a small team. Expect a reply within two to three business days. During major winter storms it can take a little longer, since that is our busiest stretch.
